Hi,

So I got the tyres and I am really impressed by them. I was really worried about the quality of the rubber would be similar to the Duros I got a year ago because the tyre design is really similar (made in same factory maybe?) but the rubber is much much better on the Record and I would go as far as to say the quality looks as good as the original worn out Records that came with my bike. I went for a ride with them and the road grip feels more secure that my crappy Duros (which are now in the bin after just one year). It's a shame Raleigh don't do the Record in amber wall flavour as I am worried about using my white walled tyres in the winter, so I need to source an amber wall to put on come september time. I'll probably pick up some Michelin World Tour.

Some pics are included.

New Raleigh Record.

Crappy Duros after one year (note rear tyre is bald).

The new Records on my Chiltern (with new pannier also).
