I'll have to call my LBS, maybe they can patch it for me.
I called the two local bike shops that I frequent most often, one sells the kit (at a price a couple times higher than on Amazon) but won't plug a tire for you, the other doesn't sell 'em and considers them only suitable for MB tires.
On further consideration, I'm inclined to agree with the second bike shop, there isn't a lot of rubber for the plug to grip.
I'm gonna go with a tire boot and a tube.
