Why? Put the through axle through the hub and drop it in the stand. Adaptors are for people (mechanics) who might not necessarily have the axle available.
I've yet to see a thru-axle wheel in person, so my ignorance is genuine. Thank you for saving me the trouble of going down the
"unnecessary adapter road."
