Not sure if this is the right thread, but I'm of to Vietnam next year for a cycling trip, and am contemplating buying a bike there rather than take the Brompton. I'll be doing most of the cycling in the Mekong and Red River Deltas.

Ideally I'd be looking at a Vietnamese made bike, either touring or road, with an aluminium frame. The bike will be bought in HCM city, so can anyone recommend a shop where you can pick up a locally-made model or a locally made brand? I'm not interested in the Treks, Cannondales, Colnagos etc which can be found in most of the shops, according to their websites, anyway.
