No pulls it tighter. I use the missinglink on my 710sl chains and skid so hard even veganbikes tighty whiteys are no longer tidy

Edit: Removing and reinstalling a missinglink too many times might not be advised. I've done it a few times for easier cleaning of the chain and noticed it started to not have the same "snap" when closing so I replaced it.
