Except for chromavelato finished Pinarellos (Don't think anyone came up with a chromavelato finish that held up. Tinted clear paint over chrome just will not stay on that well), paint and chrome had never been a problem. In fact, Pinarello had some of the best paint finish quality in the business. It was only the decals that did not hold up after some time. Comes down to Pinarello not choosing the right decal maker for their bikes.....
the signs of orange peel on this bike's paint (pic of the DT/shifters) could mean it was repainted as I haven't really seen such on their bikes.....
