I bought the bag a month before I bought the bike. Ironically, it did not fit the bike I bought it for, but fits the FX 3 perfectly, so it's like I bought the bike to fit the bag.
The plastic "window" does allow the touchscreen on my phone to work, and protects it in the rain. It is not, however, very transparent in bright sunlight. I put a small slit in the bottom of the window to run a charger cable when I'm using the phone as a GPS on long rides, and the bag is just big enough to hold a battery charger, my wallet, and keys when the phone is in it. That small slit sits beloow the phone, so water doesn't actually get in there when it rains (experience tested). It is just big enough to hold a 5 inch screen phone, but just barely.
Really well put together bag, looks like it was made for the bike.
