4th of July bike parade and games in my elder son's neighborhood, 10 am. I have the red-white-and-blue made-in-America Schwinn ready to go -- some bikes don't need no decorations.
4th of July Neptune Av. parade -- annual 3 pm event along the edge of the continent. Again, I have the bike for it, so why not.
You can see me early on with the Peugeot, with the barcons, yellow jacket, helmet w/ mirror. At about 1:30, see the mother member of a mother-and-daughter hands free mobile device (unicycle) team. One of my professor buddies at UCSD rides one, as well, but I need at least two wheels. :<
After that, party at my wife's brother's place.
