I wouldn't fool with it
My opinion is it would be utterly foolish to "redesign" them.
If you don't like them sell'em off & get a traditional 3 piece set.
Now we go from 1 piece to 3 piece down to 2 piece
I wonder when 4 piece is gonna hit the market
I do like mine, but i think the chainline is a bit whacked but i'm not going to fool with it like trying to machine down the bearings edges or carving more threads or something.
