I would imagine that within about 3 years, the majority of pro bikes will be disc breaks. But for people that buy their own bikes and wheels I expect it will take much longer. Looking at rubiksoval's post above, I imagine that scenario is fairly common and making a change would be quite expensive. My guess is much of the change will be driven by newer riders entering the scene.
