they probably have. and I probably i knew it but they did less of them. so "their prestige" is not as "tarnished" as the other brands. thats where i wanted to get at.
The watch biz is based mostly on reputation and your lowest quality ever produced. this is why rolex and omega, while still producing good stuff is ranked low. omega still produces quartz watches. i personally have no problem with it, I prefer quartz myself. preferably grand seiko. But the purists dont. I'm not a watch purist.
