I think you are talking about the ride along Sound Avenue TO Orient State Park. I am asking about Orient State Park itself, which is at the end of Sound Avenue, adjacent to the ferry entrance. Someone mentioned it as a way to extend the ride from Greenport to Orient Point.
When you make the right turn into the park it's a 2 lane road with broad shoulders for 2-3 miles to the beach parking, where it ends. Easily seen on google maps. There is no trail riding in the state park. There is a county park opposite the ferry entrance. I have no idea whats in there or if there are rideable trails
