I'm not a doctor or a scientist, but I wonder if sweating out so much salt & other electrolytes and then only drinking water is similar to bringing on water intoxication? Actually, I just found this article: https://www.webmd.com/fitness-exerci...r-intoxication which suggests that very thing.
