fietsbob, Your idea has been considered. However, I pulled a trailer for 25 years of driving a semi and have no desire to ever pull another one. You are correct the box is on an extension. I sometimes put my carbon specialized in the cab of the truck, but with the dog along , that won't work. My wife just has an aversion to getting dirty. I think that is why she rides so slow. She does not want to sweat. LOL

For our trip to the Grand Canyon and exploration of the western states, we might have to rent a small u-haul trailer and drag the wagon to carry the extras we might want to take with us.
