Anyone successfully do something like this?
Yes, but my husband and I have similar standover on a bike. Lucky us, we don't need to adjust car seats. So we choose similar size bike frames. From there, I have a narrower handlebar, shorter adjustable stem, and a different seat. The biggest difference that we notice when riding each other's bike is the width of the handlebars.
