Review: Vilano Diverse 4.0

I now have a few miles on my new Vilano Diverse 4.0 and here's my impressions of this $479.00 hybrid from Amazon.com. I was attracted by the low price and the quality components on this all aluminum hybrid. I had some initial concerns about the quality of the frame but these were unfounded and doubt that I will ever break the frame on my asphalt road commutes. I have separated my likes and dislikes and included a photo gallery since images of the bike and it's components are presently hard to find.
Likes:
Cost...A lot of features on a sub $500.00 bike
Weight...26.5 lbs. according to the distributors website.
Brakes...Shimano hydraulic disc with excellent modulation.
Rear Hub...Shimano Alfine 8 speed internal with a almost effortless rapid fire shifter.
Belt Drive...Silent and maintenance free

Dislikes:
Pedals... Cheap look and feel but function okay.
Manual... Generic and pretty much useless
Reflectors...The mounting hardware is cheap plastic and generic to all of their products.

Summary: I am very happy with this bike and the equivalent ride in Canada would be the Cube Hyde at $1498.00 CDN. You simply couldn't build a bike with these features for under $500.00. Will try to answer any questions on this bike. Cheers...
