Bikes: 1962 Rudge Sports, 1971 Raleigh Super Course, 1971 Raleigh Pro Track, 1974 Raleigh International, 1975 Viscount Fixie, 1982 McLean, 1996 Lemond (Ti), 2002 Burley Zydeco tandem

I bought a Gran Sport in 1976. The dealer offered an option to change the derailleurs and shifters to Huret Jubilee at no cost, so of course I accepted. I never should have sold that bike. I replaced the wheels with tubulars, which made it quite lightweight.

The geometry is similar to the Super Course and International. I have one of each, and they are a bit squirrely in high speed turns. I find this to be their worst attribute, and it's not that bad. Sometimes, I'll turn the bars far, farther than seems necessary, and then the bike does well.
