I am debating between getting one of these two bikes. I found a bike store that will give me a deal on these bikes for the same price. The bike that initially caught my attention was the 2018 Tarmac pro they have in stock in my size and the store was willing to give me a deal on it, then I saw they also had a 2017 S-works Tarmac in my size that looks sweat and I actually prefer the color scheme on it, the white, red, and black. The dealer is willing to sell the Sworks the same price because its last years model. The tarmac pro they had was a chameleon green that I liked also, but the sworks tarmac looks better. I like them both so I now can't decide Comparing the two, S-works has mechanical Dura Ace, and is super light. The tarmac pro has ultegra electronic di2. The 2018 tarmac pro has the more aero updated frame and wheels that I like, but is heavier but not by much. Both are comfortable. So I guess the choice is between the newer improved aero frame and wheels, and electronic shifting in the 18 pro. Or last years s-works lighter frame, gears, wheels, and nicer color scheme. Does anyone have additional experience between the two bikes models? What do you guys think? I usually ride a combination of flats and hilly roads.
