What would you miss if you switched to GarminConnect, TrainingPeaks, MapMyWhatever, or a million other options? Not to mention more companies would come along if Strava got too annoying.
I'd miss 6 years of recorded data. I've got those other programs - don't use them much; and I don't use Strava for training - mostly just for record keeping and a little social networking. People made a big deal about dropping Facebook after recent scandals, but I don't see it happening because (I assume) people have too much invested in it to leave.
