For "B":
- If you are on a workstand, rotate the crank to put the link in the upper section of chain between chainring and cassette.
Slap the pedal in the direction of normal pedaling, and it will close the link.
- If the bike is on the ground, position the link as before, and press the pedal down with your foot to latch it.
