You are interested in a vintage wheel set.
The Campy Record high flange hubs are among the most collectible and rank very high is quality. Generally, you will find the insides in good shape. But that is just the hubs. No skewers lowers value.
The rims are important, to say the least. Inspect every spoke/nipple hole! Every one and carefully. Look for stretched and/or cracked holes.
Check athe breaking surface for wear. Check ever inch of each rim, both sides, for flat spots or dents.
Something you can't check, until you get the set home, but you need to be sure the nipples are not seized. Seized nipples can spell trouble. Take your time and a magnet(see if the spokes are stainless) when inspecting the set. And don't forget to give each rim a spin, or two, to check for hop and wobble.
Armed with that information, you are a bit better prepared to make a buy.
