Bikes: 1964 Legnano Roma Olympiade, 1973 Raleigh Super Course, 1978 Raleigh Super Course, 1978 Peugeot PR10, 2002 Specialized Allez, 2007 Specialized Roubaix, 2013 Culprit Croz Blade

I love my high flange Campys, I have them on two bikes. They roll very well, and I'm really lazy with maintenance, and they have been 100% reliable. I've had a set on my '64 Legnano since new, and never bothered to service them, so never developed a feel for cone adjustment, etc. I have another set on a Raleigh Super Course that I have taken apart to service, and finally got the cone adjustment right. While cleaning the Raleigh rear hub, I found cracks in the webbed flange. The wheel spun true, and I have no idea how long it was that way. I have done about 2000 miles since I built it. The wheels were a gift from a friend, and I dont know their history. Campy high flange hubs laced to Mavic MA40. They have been great wheels. I found an Ebay replacement, had it respoked, and they have survived several dirt fire roads, gravel, as well as last years Eroica. Great hubs, nearly bulletproof, and the best looking hubs for a vintage bike, in my opinion.

Beware of cracks between holes in flange.

Shiny $65 Ebay replacement.

The Ebay hub looked so nice I had to polish the front to match.
