Thumb shifters probably work like that, but trigger shifters won't. I am fine as they are now, not as they are in this photo. I can operate the brakes with 2 fingers and the trigger shifters are set hard up against the cross-bar. Plus, Jeff would probably jump out of his beard if he saw my bars, as they are Taiwanese OEM ($45) copies, as opposed to branded Jones ($150).
