I do not recall a weight problem with Chubby.
Where I get the size and weight from is the manufacturers specification. I have pulled the six KG Chubby up a fourteen percent grade with thirty KG in it. And up even steeper mountain trails, though I don't recommend that. Don't know of a stable way to put that much weight on the bike. And I can't put it on my back if I have a flimsy cardboard box there instead. I should have been clearer. Was looking for info on different airlines, rather than looking up all 125 airlines listed in my booking app. I do like Iberia's treatment. Southwest is good, too, but they don't go to Spain. What started me on this was United wanting $200 for the size and $100 for the weight. Bikes, only $200, except then they reject it because the measurements don't match their limits on bikes.

Eventually, I found a different airport so I could fly Spirit FLL-SAL and back. That would be $75 each way, if I take it, but since I have to rent a car in El Salvador, I can leave the bike in FLL for those four days. Then Norwegian to Spain with an $80 fee for the bike and no idiotic size limits that only allow a non-folder.
