I'd still like to try to gain a little more insight into the entry level Cambio Rino. Randy's blue bicycle also has an Altus rear deralleur and both his bicycles have the Altus Selecta crankset. Consequently, I'd still appreciate the dropout manufacturer and serai lnumber, to try and determine if Cambio Rino Canada was having these entry level models contract manufactured in Japan.
I can't help with serial numbers, as both of the Rinos are gone to new homes, and long ago. Here are a couple of pictures of each bike's rear drops and I hope they are a help...
