Dyna-sys compatibility

When looking for parts to rebuild various older bikes mainly the odd MTB hardtails 7/8/9 speeds etc that come my way. I've always kept clear of the DYNA-SYS parts, I've read up on them realize the issues with shifters, cassettes, & dyna-sys Shimano states should only use special chain HG-X, but I've come across a brand new complete 10 speed Shimano Deore Dyna-sys triple 42-32-24, bearings & all. FC-M610. I realize Shimano altered the chain rings to make them closer for optimum shifting.

Question is the spacing on these chain rings any different to stop me putting it as a replacement on say a 8 or 9 speed hardtail ? all other components are a Shimano mix.
