I threw in a new tube and rode it home.

I still need to inspect the bike for brake damage from the nail pinging.

Then inspect the tire in the daylight.

I don't think I'll chuck the tire, but see if it needs a boot or something.

The nail size looks bigger in the picture, and it was tight when I pulled it out (stapling the tube to the tire wall).

I suppose it could have been worse. I could be asking if an extra hole in the rim makes a difference.

Although, I did buy a pair of Compass tires that I'm itching to try out.
