What John says. I rebuilt an '85 610 for my son to take to college this fall as a gravel bike. The frame is a perfect platform for that, touring, "towning", etc. I also switched to bar end shifters. And because of my son's preferences I did an entire rebuild, including powdercoating, keeping only the original crankset (with smaller middle ring), front derailleur, stem and brakes (with new shoes).
