Bikes: old ones

...they have a tendency to just sit there on the local CL. There's a similar bike that was listed here for a couple of years, but that needed a tiny bit more work than yours...still rideable and with newer clincher rims. NOt sure, but I think maybe the older classic bike thing is fading as more and more fans go into care homes. Most of the sales savvy people will tell you it's worth more parted out with all those Record parts on it, but if youi're anything like me, you'll find that difficult to impossible. Sorry, I have no really good answers, other than maybe e-bay, or running CL ads in specific major markets like the San Fran Bay area, where prices are still up on stuff like this.
