Bikes: Batavus Randonneur GL, Gazelle Orange Excellent, Gazelle Super Licht, Gazelle Grand Tourist, Gazelle Lausanne, Gazelle Tandem, Koga-Miyata SilverAce, Koga-Miyata WorldTraveller

So I was in need of a new front cantilever. But this bike has a narrow stud fork. I asked around how much it would be to braze on wider canti-studs... €200 or so apparently.

Good thing I still had the Shimano BR-TY21 canti's the bike came with when I bought it. Biggest problem? They are ugly.
But ugly and functional is just fine if we can polish it a bit.

After disassembly and a couple of rounds in the sonic cleaner:


Hmm, not bad. Still kind of dull.
Time to break out the car polish!

Mounted on the bike, fits right in. I like it!



Now all I need is to find the KoolStop pads I had on there before. Seems like I lost on after my vacation.
Anyway, an afternoon well spent!
