No, I don't hit the Topeak top-tube bag with my knees, but I did need to add extra velcro to ensure the straps didn't hang out to the side (where i would brush against them, which was irritating). I don't stuff the bag full so it's only about 2.5 inches wide, which is only a little bit wider than the top-tube itself.
