I don't know if you're kidding. Find a longer, steeper hill? That's really the main thing. Not every area has them. I guess you could a huge chainring. 56+ should do it. How fast is your sprint on level ground?

This newfangled fascination with pedaling down hills is somewhat interesting. Most of the time it's a waste of energy, and you're better off taking the time to recover. Because of the exponential nature of wind resistance vs velocity, at higher speeds a slightly better tuck will often be faster than max effort pedaling. Of course in racing it may be of strategic value to waste a bunch of energy to get to the front or whatever.

So the Velominati have it wrong with rule #93 . But they're from Minnesota, where they don't actually have hills. Actually it's not really clear if they are talking about descending hard or pedaling on downhills.
