Bikes: Cannondale SR's and ST's from the '80's

I rode 2 weeks and my knee began to twinge a bit.
Took 3 days off.
Rode 2 days, 21 miles total.
Today my knee is a bit stiff..............
I am uncertain as to the future of my cycling...........
