Measuring dish the way miamijim did, this wheel is presently at 17 mm. Miamijim noted that dish is often 16 to18 mm (smaller number means more dish). On this hub the right locknut is 3.5 mm thick and the left is 4.5 mm. I could swap them side for side(move right to left and left to right). This would move everything 1 mm to the left and thereby increasing the clearance of the chain that same 1 mm. I would then need to increase dish one mm to a measurement of 16. This would still be within the "normal" range that miamijim reported.
This appears to be very doable. I'm going to try it as is with a 9 speed chain during the build. If for some reason it is too tight I will then swap locknuts and re-dish the wheel. I'll post when it happens.
