14F with some fresh snow. Toes were cold because I wore the wrong shoes home from work yesterday. I'll have my Gortex lined hiking shoes on for the ride home.

There was about 3 inches of snow on the road shoulder after the snow plow cleared the road. I ride the shoulder on this road to keep out of the fast traffic.
I rode my geared MTB and used a low gear because of the increased rolling resistance of tires in fresh snow. My usual commuter bike is a singlespeed with the current gear appropriate for dry gravel shoulders. I'm thinking I might want a slightly lower winter gear.
