- Zinc Oxide sticks that apply like face paint to the areas where you burn the most like your nose and cheeks. Plain will leave a white mark but it also comes in colors. Not the coolest look, but a lot better than a bright red, blistered and peeling shnoz.
Newer mineral sunscreens (aka "physical" sunscreens) made with zinc oxide (or titanium dioxide) use finer particles which make them virtually transparent.
