I also think Agmetal's bike above is pretty darn sweet, except that I can't see putting caliper brakes (as much as I like them) on a bike that's got canti posts.
I was sick of dealing with cantilevers, so I took them off and put the calipers on. I was relieved that it doesn't look as bad as I was afraid it might, although I might eventually cut them off.
