If I let that get under my skin, I'd stay pissed off all the time. Situations and surroundings vary, but most of the time riding side by side isn't all that big a deal.
If there's plenty of room, it's fine. But I have been in a lot of situations where I'd either have to go into a ditch or plow into someone else. At that point I start yelling, and it seems to work.
