except Motley Crue. Good thing Grunge killed hair metal overnight. My high school years was during the height of hair metal but thrash saved the day with the emergence of Metallica, Slayer, Anthrax and others. And of course Motörhead and AC/DC that didn’t change their style and are stayed great over the years.
