Does your 333 hub have these notches? If so a screwdriver might suffice as a drift punch. You have to offer the ball ring enough force/shock to loosen it's tightening. This is a pretty simple concept. The "proper" tool engages the internal ratchet teeth so a large but "slow" force can be applied. The notches allow for a "fast" but sharp blow to be applied at a tangent to the ring. Sorry but I don't know of other methods that will work without other issues. BTW do this loosening with the hub still laced into the wheel. Andy
