...I'm repainting a better than average Atala right now, and today I stripped and primed it.

The original paint was a kind of one color pearlescent gray, in rough shape, but in white primer over self etching grey, it looks like a candidate for one of these "fishnet" jobs, if I can manage it. In thinking about the netting to use, I remembered hearing them called "onion bag" paint schemes. So I looked at a discarded net bag from some Costco avocados, and the mesh size is almost identical with that Faggin I posted.

FWIW, anyway. I might have to drink some wine and ponder the whole thing while the primer sets up.
