I went to the Wiggle site and did a search for tubular tires. I see one cyclocross-ish looking tire: the Maxxis Relix for $76.49. They have it pictured on a wide rim, but it says 700c so I assume it is to run on a 29er. I looked yesterday on the Italian website “Cicli Corsa” and checked their Challenge branded tubulars. I see a variety of more higher end cyclocross tubulars, but none that I can see are in the 26” size. Could it be that the person referring to pro level mountain bike tubulars was referring to these 700c cyclocross tubulars?
