The Giant Rincon has very short horizontal dropouts, but the the dropout forgings look like they are made so they could be milled out another 1/2 to 3/4" deeper. The Diamondback, hasn't been full inspected yet.
I'll keep my eyes open for another frame with full horizontal dropouts. I hadn't thought about changing the gearing for different conditions. Thanks for that.
