I "get" the double century thing. Chuck and the local group of DC Triple Crown riders seem like a fun crowd and I enjoy riding with them. And it's yet another significant goal to challenge yourself.

That said, I'm just not feeling it for myself. I did the double metric Cool Breeze a couple years ago. Had a great time and felt pretty good even at the end, albeit starting to get a few aches and pains. I could have kept going, but mentally I was ready to get off the bike and do something else.

Nice thing about bikes, there's all kinds of ways to do it.
