How did you reduce the size of the anchors?
The anchor (or the side of the cable that you
don't cut off) can be just the right size, or just a bit too big to fit into the thimble part for it to fit. I carefully "rub" these alongside the side of my spinning grinder wheel to reduce the diameter slightly.
