There are lots of great touring areas which have good weather during that time period and where costs aren't too high. Some of those destinations are even Spanish-speaking. Suggesting waiting for next summer in the northern hemisphere or going to southern Italy doesn't sound particularly helpful.
Are you the forum police? It is a suggestion. I am expressing my opion based on my experience. Just because someone thinks they want to do something doesn't make it a good idea.
