Yea... So I too considered going clipless,
for awhile, until I saw my son who can ride 2X better than I, ride clipless and fall over... WHY.? Because he was in the wrong gear,? going to slow,? or just what whatever combination happened, there he was on the ground...
Since then, I think that any kind of "Normal" bicycling does NOT involve clipless... IMO
