Red is a good color if you're not into hi viz dayglo, road hazard colors, which I get.

As I mentioned earlier, good quality active lighting adds a significant element to driver awareness of your presence. It's not just for night time, folks!!!!

Hi viz clothing helps, but depending on your environment, even bright clothing can mix with the background.

Here's an old PSA that has shown up here before, figured it might be good to post again. Obviously, in the context of the video (witholding specifics to not spoil it), hi viz colors would help too, but blinkies would have made it obvious. I think both, especially in an urban setting. I prefer active lighting + whatever I'm wearing in a rural setting.
