You weighed ALL those frames or those are the specs? I suspect some of these specs are done without deralier hangers or seat tube clamps which I included because their integrated into the steel Zona frame. Also I wasn't saying that expensive aluminium frames couldn't be made light but I was interested in what a regular sort of aluminium frame weighs and the difference isn't that great. Also superlight aluminium frames aren't renowned for their longevity.

Spirit tubed frame weighs 1.65 kg? That's what my Zona frame weighs in all seriousness although it is a 48cm frame. I calculate that if my same frame design was made with Spirit tubing it would weigh in at around 1.35 kg.
