Maybe I should rewatch and see if I can recognise the bike he is riding, at the time I found it too grainy to make out. Galmozzi have some quite recognisable lugs though, so I can look out for those.

But actually I'm referring to the maker of the bike he rode during the war for training and his long rides across the country as part of his assisting the resistance. This is well documented and features in the film Giacomo mentions, but unfortunately I just can't seem to find out what was riding!
